Signal Solve Founded to Fix Venue Cell Signal Problems with Free Infrastructure
The program tackles the issue of dead zones, poor connectivity and congestion and comes at no cost to participating venues.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- March 1, 2026 -- Signal Solve, a company founded by local entrepreneur Gavin Labate, deploys state-of-the-art technology in venues like bars, restaurants, malls, arenas and more, to fix the issue of poor cell signal. Using best-in-class WiFi infrastructure, Signal Solve ensures that visitors are automatically served by high speed WiFi, completely securely and with zero login or friction, the moment they step in a venue.
Labate learned that this technology was already proven at scale at thousands of locations nationwide, primarily in Southeast, but fewer people were aware of its benefits in the Northeast region. That realization, combined with the frustration of seeing cell signal struggle every summer during Track Season in Saratoga Springs, led to the formation of this business. Said Labate, "If customers have better connectivity, they are going to stay longer to stream that race, place that bet, post to social, and tell their friends where they are. To venues, that means they order that extra round or dessert, translating into real revenue. To me it just felt like a no-brainer - a free upgrade for local businesses that removes one of the biggest headaches of busy season."
Signal Solve works with IT professionals to fit businesses with the infrastructure they need and handles all aspects of installation and monitoring completely free, with no disruption to existing service. Signal Solve's approach works with any businesses' internet service provider and currently serves cellular customers on AT&T and MVNO devices (Cricket Wireless, US Mobile, PureTalk, Boost Mobile, etc.) with automatic high speed connections. Signal Solve is optimistic that another Tier 1 carrier will begin participating soon as well, given the compelling economics to carriers.
"Not only does the consumer and venue win, but the carrier wins too. It is significantly cheaper to serve cell customers through our technology than it is to build a new cell tower. Carriers love our solution so much they pay for the infrastructure and the installation, knowing that we will keep their customers happy," said Labate. "There is also a safety aspect to this: having great connectivity, even during peak congestion, is great for communities. God forbid an emergency strikes, clear lines of communication are critical for everyone involved."
